Camping at Cheshire View

The current Chester Chess Congress series was founded in 2006 by David Dickson. A keen enthusiast of promoting chess, he founded Caergwrle Chess Club and the Wirral League many years ago.

The venue at the extensive Cheshire View complex with its pleasant refrectory, restauraunt, lunch buffet, bars and large crown green bowling centre is set in rural Cheshire and is ideal for the pursuit of chess titles.

Staff at the Cheshire View make sure that there is a continuous supply of hot and cold drinks and  food throughout the congress, all at affordable prices.
